Biography

Zaiwar Ali received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad Campus, Pakistan, in 2012, the M.S. degree in electronics engineering from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIK Institute), Topi, Pakistan, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from the Telecommunications and Networking Research Laboratory, GIK Institute, in 2021. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Graduate Assistant with the GIK Institute. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Lecturer with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, GIK Institute, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. His research interests include multi-access edge computing, cloud computing, stochastic processes, the IoT, machine learning, and wireless sensor networks. He was a recipient of the Highest Level of Merit Scholarship.
