Biography
Staffan Björlin received the M.S. degree in engineering physics from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2000. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at University of California at Santa Barbara.
His research interests include design and characterization of vertical-cavity semiconductor optical amplifiers and vertical-cavity lasers.
