Biography
Tito G. Amaral was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1968. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal, in 1993, 1997, and 2006, respectively.
Since 1996, he has been a member of the Teaching Staff with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Superior Technology School of Setúbal, Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Setúbal, Portugal, where he is currently a Professor of digital signal processing. He is also a Researcher with the Institute of Systems and Robotics, University of Coimbra. His current research interests include the areas of signal processing, robotics, modeling, and advanced learning control techniques.
