Biography
Thierry Chonavel received the master's degree from IMT Atlantique (Télécom Bretagne), Brest, France, in 1987, and the Ph.D. degree in signal and image processing from Télécom ParisTech, Paris, France, in 1992.
After working for Alcatel, he joined the Télécom ParisTech. Since then, he has been with the IMT Atlantique an Associate Professor and then as a Professor (since 2004). His current research focuses on statistical signal processing, with applications in several areas such as transmissions, radar, sonar, or array processing.
