Biography
Antero Arkkio was born in Vehkalahti, Finland, in 1955. He received
the M.Sc. (Tech.) and D.Sc. (Tech.) degrees from Helsinki University of Technology (Aalto University), Espoo, Finland,
in 1980 and 1988, respectively.
He is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Aalto University. His current research interests include modeling, design, and measurement of electrical machines.
