Biography

Paul Saad (S'09) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Lebanese University, Beirut, in 2005 and the M.S. degree in RF and microwave engineering from the University of Gävle, Sweden, in 2007. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the GigaHertz Centre, Microwave Electronics Laboratory, Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.
His research concerns the design of high-efficiency and wideband power amplifiers.
Mr. Saad is the winner of the 2010 Student High Efficiency Power Amplifier Design Competition at the IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS).
