Biography

Hamidreza Azimian received the B.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2004, the M.Sc. degree (with distinction) in electrical engineering (control systems) from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical and materials engineering from The Univesrity of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada, in 2012.
He is currently a Senior Project manager at the Centre for Image-Guided Innovation and Therapeutic Intervention, The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, ON, Canada. His research experience includes topics in optimization, robotics, and control with application to biomedicine.
