Biography
Karim Faez received the B.Sc. degree (First Rank) in electrical engineering from Tehran Polytechnic University, Tehran, Iran, in 1973, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 1977 and 1980, respectively.
His current research interests include biometrics recognition and authentication, pattern recognition, image processing, neural networks, signal processing, Farsi handwritten processing, earthquake signal processing, fault tolerance system design, computer networks, and hardware design.
