Biography
Konstanty Bialkowski (Member, IEEE) received the Dual B.Eng./B.Sc. (Hons.) degree and the Ph.D. degree in wireless communications from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, in 2003 and 2008, respectively. He was a Research Engineer with National ICT Australia, Australia, prior to joining the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering with the University of Queensland in 2009, where he is currently a Senior Lecturer. His research interests include wireless sensing in the applications of near-field biomedical imaging as well as defense and transport areas. He was awarded a Mid-Career Advance Queensland Research Fellowship (AQRF) Award in 2017. He was the recipient of the Early CAREER Researcher Award at the 2011 Australian Communication Theory Workshop and the Highly Commended Presentation Award at the 2005 Australian Symposium on Antennas. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology (JERM), and a Guest Editor for the Microwave and Optical Technology Letters.
