Biography
Amin Abbosh (Senior Member, IEEE) leads the Electromagnetic Innovations (εMAGin) Group and is the Head of ITEE School, The University of Queensland, Brisbane, QLD, Australia. He has authored more than 400 papers on electromagnetic imaging systems, wideband passive microwave devices, and planar antennas.
Dr. Abbosh won IEEE APS King Prize Paper Award twice. As a recognition of his international research standing, he received the higher doctorate (Doctor of Engineering) from The University of Queensland in 2013. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, and a Senior Associate Editor of the IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters.
