Biography

Emad Al Abbas (S’15) received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Baghdad, Baghdad, Iraq. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical and biomedical engineering from The University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, QLD, Australia.
He was an RF Senior Unit Head with the Ooredoo Telecommunication Company, Baghdad. His current research interests include antenna design, reconfigurable antennas, and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antennas for mobile smartphone, and wireless communication system.
