Biography

Yoshito Kato was born in Tottori in Japan, on February 24, 1944. He graduated from Hiroshima Institute of Technology in 1967. He was been working as a associate professor of Tottori University, Tottori. He received the doctor degree from Osaka Prefecture University in 1995. He has been engaged in the research of Power Electronics, in particular, the development of electronic ballast for improvement of Power Factor and for reduction of input current harmonics.
