Biography

Aman Kumar Jha was born in Madhepura, India, in November 1977. He received the B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from the Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Muzaffarpur, India, in 2003, and the M.Tech. degree in power electronics and energy systems engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 2005. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in power electronics, electrical machines, and drives from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India.
He is currently working with STMicroelectronics, Pvt. Ltd., Greater Noida, India, as a Staff Engineer in switched power supply hardware design. He has 11 years of working experience in power supply design in various reputed multi-national companies: Delta Energy Systems, Gurgaon (2005–2008); AGS, Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai (Consultant of Allegro Microsystems, Inc., USA) (2008–2010); and Barco Electronics, Pvt. Ltd., Noida (2010–2015). His research interests include power electronics, power quality, switched mode power supply design, and light-emitting diode lighting.
