Biography

A. K. M. Baki (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), the M.Sc. degree from the University of Applied Science, Soest, Germany, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Kyoto University, Japan. From 2009 to 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He was an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 2014 to 2016 and from 2020 to 2022, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, AUST. He has authored several journals/conference papers/book chapters. He was a former recipient of Australian Research Council (ARC) Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. He also received a Japanese Government (Monbusho: MEXT) Scholarship for his Ph.D. research and a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholarship for his M.Sc. study.
