Biography
M. A. Choudhury obtained B. Sc and M. Sc. Engg (EEE) degrees from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1978 and 1980 respectively. He joined as a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1980. In 1984 and 1989 he obtained M. Engg. and Ph. D in Engg from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada.
Currently M. A. Choudhury is serving as a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
His research and teaching interests are on power electronics, electrical machines, power system protection, electrical circuits and electronic devices.
