Biography

Carroll E. Lindler, Jr. received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina in 1991. After graduation he held Product Engineer and Design Engineer positions with Kuhlman Electric Corporation and ABB in the field of Instrument Transformer Design. From 1998 to 2005, he held Applications Engineer, Lead Applications Engineer and Senior Applications Engineer positions with Prysmian Power Cables and Systems (formerly Pirelli Power Cables and Systems). Presently, he is the Manager of Applications Engineering for Prysmian Power Cables and Systems USA, LLC. His responsibilities with Prysmian include numerous aspects of low voltage and medium voltage power cable design from manufacturing to installation, performing various calculations and applications duties as well as managing and directing the Applications Engineering Team for Prysmian. He is presently an active member of the ICEA and IEEE.
