Biography

Gary B. Armanini received the B.S. degree from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada, in 1970.
He is presently employed by B.C. Hydro, Burnaby, BC, and has recent extensive experience in distribution standards, line construction, metering, and power quality. He previously worked on grounding and bonding issues for B.C. Hydro including a paper entitled “Grounding Methods for Controlling Excessive Step and Touch Potentials at Padmount and Sub Surface URD Primary Installations.” He is the author of over two dozen technical papers and two handbooks.
Mr. Armanini is a Registered Professional Engineer in California, Arizona, and New Mexico.
