Biography

Frédéric Blanc is with the Ecole Polytechnique Federale Lausanne, Switzerland where his research is focused on the study of heavy flavor phenomena and the indirect search for new physics through precision measurements. Expertise in multivariate analysis techniques and work on detector developments brought him to collaborate on accelerator beam losses and instabilities studies. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in experimental particle physics in 1998 from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.
