Biography

Maria Adamo received the Laurea degree in physics, the M.S. degree in remote sensing techniques, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Bari, Bari, Italy, in 2002, 2003, and 2009, respectively.
From 2004 to 2010, she was a Grant-Holder of the Italian National Council of Research (CNR), Bari, Italy. Since 2010, she has been a Research Scientist at the Institute for Intelligent Systems and Automation (ISSIA), CNR. On these themes, he has been involved as CI or PI in several national and international scientific proposals concerning SAR and optical sensors aboard ENVISAT, COSMO-SkyMed, and HICO satellites. Her research interests include satellite oceanography and biodiversity monitoring.
