Biography

Mohammad Zain Ul Abideen was born in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, in October 1995. He received the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in electrical engineering from Qatar University, Qatar, in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in sustainable energy with Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar, sponsored by Iberdrola Innovation Middle East. He joined Iberdrola Innovation Middle East, as an Intern, in 2018. In 2021, he joined Iberdrola Innovation Middle East, as a Power System Engineer. His research interests include distributed energy resources, energy storage devices, and smart grids. In recent years, he has focused on the valuation of grid connected battery energy storage systems for various applications.
