Biography
Shakeel Ahmad received the B.Sc. (Hons) degree in electronics and communication engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2000; the M.Sc. degree in information and communication systems from Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg, Germany, in 2005; and the Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) degree from University of Konstanz, Konstanz, Germany, in 2008.
He is a Senior Research Fellow with the Faculty of Technology, De Montfort University, Leicester, U.K. His research interests include video coding and streaming, channel coding, peer-to-peer networks, communication protocols, and mobile ad hoc networks.
