Biography
Zalina Abdul Aziz received the Ph.D. degree in quality engineering from Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., and the M.Sc. and B.B.A. degrees in applied statistics from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo.
She is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Nibong Tebal, Malaysia. Over the past 16 years, she has been promoting the use of quality-engineering techniques to manufacturing industries in Malaysia, collaborating with them on the implementation of techniques, and providing solutions to the problems that arise during the implementation process. One of the techniques that is of special interest to her is the “design of experiments” technique.
