Acquisition of CAD models from multiple range views

The project reported focuses on the automatic acquisition of CAD-like models of industrial components from multiple range images. The models are intended to be suitable firstly for use in industrial vision applications such as object inspection, location and recognition. Another potential exploitation of such models is for use in reverse engineering tasks.<>
