Performance of MC-CDMA systems in multipath indoor environments. Comparison with COFDM-TDMA system
In this paper, the performance of a multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) system in downlink and over indoor channels is studied. The study is carried out over three channels used in the ETSI-BRAN project representative of open indoor (small offices) and large open indoor with or without line of sight (airport area). Some performance results of MC-CDMA systems are presented for different frequency equalization techniques. Then a comparison between COFDM (coded orthogonal division multiplexing) with time divison multiple access (TDMA) and MC-CDMA is realized over these indoor channels, including channel coding and frequency interleaving.
