An Efficient Solution for High-Frequency Electromagnetic Field Coupling to Long Terminated Lines
This paper illustrates the use of an efficient hybrid method to compute high frequency electromagnetic field coupling to long transmission lines, when the transmission line (TL) approximation is not applicable. In this method, the induced current along the line and at the line terminals can be expressed using closed form analytical expressions. The coefficients involved in these expressions are determined using the exact numerical solutions of the integral equation for two similar line configurations, but having a significantly shorter length. The method is therefore very efficient for the analysis of high frequency field coupling to long lines.
